Tweens Helping with the Planet and Going Green

Author: When you educate the youth about environmental issues, they pay attention, become involved and make huge changes and right away.
A survey conducted on more than 1,200 youths from the ages of 11 thru 13 stated that 92% said they were very or somewhat concerned about the environment they live in.
And just to prove how powerful an example tweens are, Florida’s Edgewater Boys and Girls Torch Club was named the winner of “Be Great. Be Green” National Project Award. This award goes to the club that motivates, educates and raises awareness about environmental issues. Congratulations to the Tweens in this club.
