FreshDirect Expanding to more Cities

Author: The New York-based online grocer FreshDirect is planning on expanding in Baltimore and Washington. FreshDirect, founded more than a decade ago, plans to raise as much as $200 million to expand and has had a 20% sales growth this past year in the tri-state area lone.
FreshDirect Inc. has operations in the five boroughs of New York, Connecticut and parts of New Jersey. And because of its huge popularity is working towards expanding in a number of different areas.
